“After having a long and fulfilling career in this wonderful game of cricket, I have decided to retire from First-Class cricket and move ahead in a different direction in my career,” he started his post saying.

Teja was a former India U-19 player and he thanked the BCCI for all their support that he showered on him during his career. His 653-run U-19 season helped him get a contract with the Deccan Chargers in the IPL and push his case for national selection.
