Hanuma Vihari Takes A Cheeky Dig At Babul Supriyo After The Latter’s ‘Murdered Cricket’ Comment

Indian batsman Hanuma Vihari has taken a cheeky dig at Babul Supriyo after the latter’s Tweet over the Indian batsman went viral after the Sydney Test came to a close on Monday. Notably, Member of Parliament from Asansol, Babul Supriyo haD fired shots at Indian batsman, Hanuma Vihari for his slow innings against Australia on the final day of the Sydney Test. Babul Supriyo blamed Hanuma Vihari for not taking up to the task and helping India win but only go for a draw.

The Indian cricket team salvaged a draw from the most clutch situations against Australia in the Sydney Test on Monday. R Ashwin and Hanuma Vihari pulled off a miraculous stint at the crease on Day 5 of the Sydney Test. Both the batsmen salvaged a draw for team India in conditions quite daunting.

Hanuma Vihari Hits Back Cheekly At Babul Supriyo

Babul Supriyo criticized Vihari for showing lack of intent and went on to say that Vihari has murdered cricket with the sort of batting he did in the final innings of the Sydney Test. He took to Twitter and wrote, “Playing 109 balls to score 7 !That is atrocious to say the least•Hanuma Bihari has not only killed any Chance for India to achieve a historic win but has also murdered Cricket.. not keeping win an option, even if remotely, is criminal. PS: I know that I know nothing abt cricket”

Now, Hanuma Vihari has taken a sleek dig at Babul and went on to correct his name’s spelling in Babul’s tweet.

Hanuma And R Ashwin Showed Massive Resilience

Hanuma Vihari and R Ashwin showed massive resilience and faced the Australian bowlers with a lot of flares. The Indian batsmen were dealt with massive blows on the body as the Aussies looked desperate and frustrated to win the Test match. However, the Indian batsmen left no room for error and salvaged a draw. The final Test of the Border-Gavaskar trophy now takes place from January 15 at Brisbane.

The India National Cricket Team is dealing with a lot of injuries as their star men have been ruled out including Ravindra Jadeja, Jasprit Bumrah, Mohammed Shami, Umesh Yadav, Hanuma Vihari. If team India manages to pull off a  win or a draw in the final Test, it will be none short of an achievement.
