ICC T20I Rankings For Batsmen: Pakistan’s Mohammad Rizwan Moves To 10th Spot After Spectacular Batting Show Against Zimbabwe

Pakistan cricketer Mohammad Rizwan has made his way into the top ten T20I batsmen in the latest ICC rankings. Mohammad Rizwan has grabbed the 10th spot in ICC’s rankings for T20I batsmen. This comes after Mohammad Rizwan’s brilliant batting show against Zimbabwe in the recent T20I series.

Pakistan is touring Zimbabwe for T20I and Test series. The wicket-batsman Mohammed Rizwan smashed two half-centuries during the three-match T20I series against Zimbabwe. The right-handed batsman smashed an 82 run-knock in the 1st T20I. He later smashed unbeaten 91 runs in the third T20I. He failed to bat well in the 2nd T20I, getting out for 13.

Mohammad Rizwan Bags 10th Spot In Latest ICC Rankings

With his brilliant knocks in two of the three games, Rizwan managed to bag the 10th spot in the latest ICC’s rankings for T20I batsmen. Rizwan gained 5 spots and moved to the 10th spot. He has 640 ratings. Due to Rizwan’s spectacular knocks in the T20I series, Pakistan managed to defeat Zimbabwe 2-1.

Pakistan won the 1st T20I by 11 runs and the 3rd T20I by 24 runs. The Babar Azam-led Pakistan lost the 2nd T20I by 19 runs. Mohammad Rizwan was awarded player of the match in the first T20I. He was also awarded player of the series for his wonderful batting.

Other than Rizwan, Babar Azam is the only other Pakistan player among the top 10 T20I batsmen. Babar Azam holds 3rd spot. Azam earlier held the 2nd spot but slipped one spot in the latest ICC rankings. Australia’s Aaron Finch is placed on the 2nd position. Finch managed to replace Babar Azam from the 2nd spot in the latest rankings. However, Babar Azam is just 2 ratings behind Aaron Finch, who has 830 ratings.

England’s Dawid Malan holds the top spot in ICC’s list of T20I batsmen. Dawid Malan is far ahead in ratings than the other batsmen in the list, with 892 ratings in his pockets. Among Indian players, Virat Kohli holds the 5th spot while KL Rahul holds the 7th spot.
