IND vs AUS Head to Head Records in ODIs – 1st ODI, 2023. The IND vs AUS first ODI will be played in Mohali on September 22, Friday. The match starts from 1.30 pm IST with both the teams facing off each other in a three-match ODI series. The second ODI will be played on Sunday (September 24) in Indore and the third in Rajkot on Wednesday (September 27). 

KL Rahul will lead India in the first two games with Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli rested. The duo will return for the final ODI. Along with Kohli and Rohit, Kuldeep Yadav is rested from the first two games. He too will return for the third ODI. Meanwhile, Ravichandran Ashwin has been recalled into the ODI squad while Washington Sundar retains his place from the Asia Cup-winning squad.

Last-minute injuries to Mitchell Starc and Steve Smith have also ruled them out of the South Africa series. Smith was recovering from a tendon injury to his left wrist, while Starc was ruled out with groin soreness. All the senior players are now back in the squad with David Warner part of the ODI squad as well. He played in the ODI series against South Africa. Pat Cummins will lead the Aussies. 

The Aussies are heading into this IND vs AUS series after losing the South Africa ODI series. They won the first two games but lost the final three games to lose the series. Australia defeated India 2-1 earlier this year in an ODI series. 

India, on the other hand, is fresh from their triumphant Asia Cup 2023 title-winning campaign. Mohd Siraj picked up 6/21 as India bowled out just 50 and won the match in 6.1 overs. Siraj is the new number-one-ranked ODI bowler after his recent performance.

Talking about head-to-head, both teams have played 146 ODIs between themselves with India winning 54 and Australia 82 matches. As many as 10 games have ended with results. In India, out of 67 matches, the Aussies have won 32 games while Team India 30. Five matches ended with no result.
