Despite amassing tons of runs in the domestic circuit, Sarfaraz Khan hasn’t got a chance in the Test Team against Australia which raised a lot of eyebrows. The batter has the knack of playing long & effective innings for the team which is priceless in modern cricket.

Sarfaraz made his IPL debut way back in 2015 when he stunned everyone with his brisk stroke-play. The Chetan Sharma-led selection panel has named the star Suryakumar Yadav in place of him who most likely will make his debut against Australia in the 1st Test match at Nagpur on 9th February.

Sarfaraz Khan was having an interaction with Aakash Chopra at Jio Cinema and was asked about his interaction with AB de Villiers.

“It would be better if we didn’t talk about him. Rarely have I seen him practice. But I asked him once, why don’t you practice much? So, he said that when I was of your age, I used to practice a lot, and I was not as talented as you are now, so just keep playing.” said Sarfaraz Khan.

The Men in Blue can’t afford to get complacent after defeating Sri Lanka & New Zealand in the white ball leg. Aussies would be a complete different challenge as this time Aussies have got a balanced squad as compared to 2013 & 2017 tours. India needs to be careful with their game-plan as there’s hardly any gap between 1st & 2nd Test match.

Australia would be banking on their star batter Steven Smith. The right handed batter had a dream 2017 Test Series where he struck 3 centuries and was quite unstoppable. The batter this time though would be batting at No.4 position where he will have to guide the likes of Travis Head & Alex Carey against spinners.
