Former Indian batsman Aakash Chopra revealed his predictions for day three with the most important one being Siraj going on pick up a five-wicket haul and having his name on the honours board. India ended day two as the happier team among the two teams and England still trails by 245 runs with seven wickets in hand in the first innings.

India faltered to a batting collapse after making a good start on day one and Rahul’s century proved to be a big plus already. As far as England’s bowling department was concerned, it was the veteran bowler James Anderson being the standout with another five-wicket haul in his Test career. England despite losing three wickets will be relieved that their skipper Joe Root is still in the crease unbeaten on 48.

Aakash Chopra Predicts Siraj Might Get His Name On The Lord’s Honors Board

Aakash Chopra reckoned that Siraj who has already taken two wickets will go on to pick another minimum of two wickets. He added that a fifer is also on the cards from Siraj which might register his name on the famous Lord’s honours board. Chopra also predicted two LBW dismissals owing to the ball not bouncing and keeping low at times.

“My first prediction is that Siraj will take two more wickets. He has already taken two and will take two more, which means he will take four wickets, it is possible he takes a five-wicket haul. His name might be written on the Lord’s Honors board along with Rahul.”

“Two players will be dismissed LBW. It is possible because the ball is keeping low as well and there are more attempts being done to bring the ball in,” Aakash Chopra predicted on his Youtube Channel.

Aakash Chopra Makes Two More Predictions

Aakash Chopra felt that the England all-rounder Moeen Ali might score more than 30 runs. Moeen Ali hasn’t played a test for a while but his numbers are good against India. Chopra also added that there might be two partnerships of fifty-plus runs considering the game has gone about so far.

“I feel Moeen Ali will score more than 30 runs, he will go beyond 30 runs.”

“I also feel there will be two fifty-plus partnerships,” He added.

India has just one spin option of Ravindra Jadeja and they will already feel the heat off leaving out R Ashwin.
