India
Jasprit Bumrah made a winning start to his T20I captaincy career. He took two wickets in his very first over on his international comeback and looked fit. The Indian bowling performance especially was a remarkable one after the senior Indian bowlers took a lot of pounding in the T20I series against the West Indies.
The BCCI selectors have named a young side led by Jasprit Bumrah who is making a comeback to international cricket. Along with him, Prasidh Krishna is also making a comeback after a long injury layoff. Rinku Singh earned his maiden international call-up. The likes of Shivam Dube and Washington Sundar are making a comeback into the team in the series.
The management named the strongest XI from the squad that they picked for the series. Rinku and Prasidh made their T20I debuts in the previous game and it is expected that the same side will play the IND vs IRE second T20I unless any forced changes are made.
