The hosts India and the visitors England will meet Saturday (20th March) night during the fifth and last game of the five-match T20I series at Narendra Modi Stadium (Motera, Ahmedabad).

While India have won two matches in this series, both times they returned from the series trailing and levelled the series in incredible ways.

Captain Virat Kohli is the leading run-scorer in this series by scoring 151 runs in four matches as his scores in this series are 0, 73*, 77* and 1 respectively. After scoring 67 runs in the first T20I, Shreyas Iyer scored firing 37 off 18 balls in the last T20I. Rishabh Pant’s scores in this series are 21, 26, 25 and 30 as he is mostly handling the tremendous pressures due to the consistent failures from the top-order batsmen which is a big headache for the hosts.

While Ishan Kishan scored a match-winning half-century on his T20I debut, Suryakumar Yadav scored a half-century in the last game which was also his first innings in his international career.

Indian bowlers are not in good form, especially in the consistent wise. Shardul Thakur has taken 5 wickets in four games of this series while Washington Sundar has picked up 4 wickets in four games.

While England won the first and third games of this series, they twice lost the lead of this series by losing the second and fourth matches of this series.

Opener Jason Roy is currently in great form with the bat as he has scored three 40s in this series (49, 46, 9 and 40). Jos Buttler won the Player of the Match award in the third game after managing his highest T20I score of 83*. Jonny Bairstow is also performing positively as his scores in this series are 26*, 20, 40* and 25 runs respectively. In the last game, Ben Stokes also scored 46 runs while Jofra Archer came to bat at a late moment and played the crucial cameo of 18 not out off just 8 balls.

Jofra Archer has taken seven wickets in this series as he won the Player of the Match award for taking three wickets in the first game. After his two wicket-less T20Is, Archer bagged four wickets in the last game. Another fast bowler, Mark Wood has also impressed with his pace bowling as he has taken 5 wickets in three matches. Chris Jordan has collected 4 wickets in four games while Adil Rashid has got 3 wickets in four matches, including dismissing Indian captain Virat Kohli twice cheaply.

While this T20I series is currently in a level position, both teams have the equal opportunity to win this T20I series Saturday night. England are the strong side as a team as their initial line-ups are performing really well. Meanwhile, India can be more dangerous if their top-order batsmen bring their familiar performances.
