After a great one-sided victory in this Women’s ODI series opener, South Africa Women suffered a thrashing defeat in the second match of this series.

In the first game of this series, their openers Lizelle Lee and Laura Wolvaardt built up the 169 runs partnership. While Wolvaardt was out after scoring 80 runs, Lee scored 83 not out to secure a very comfortable win in that match. In the second ODI, while all other batters failed to score even 15 runs in their innings, only captain Sune Luus (36) and Lara Goodall (49) managed to play some respectable knock for the visitors.
