Here we look at 5 such players from RR who will play every match in IPL 2021.
Rajasthan Royals have promoted Sanju Samson as the new skipper for the team. This absolutely reveals that RR sees Samson as a promising asset for the team. Samson played all 14 matches for Rajasthan Royals in IPL 2020, piling 375 runs for the team.
With 3 half-centuries in total, Sanju Samson was the leading run-scorer for Rajasthan Royals. As the new skipper in IPL 2021, Sanju Samson will definitely play all the games for RR.
Ben Stokes is one of the crucial players for Rajasthan Royals. His quick-batting style enables the RR to have a fabulous opener in the team. The English cricketer Ben Stokes can also lend a hand while bowling, thus becomes a superb all-rounder to go for in the playing 11.
Last season in IPL 2020, Stokes could only play 8 games due to his late arrival in the tournament. He smashed 285 runs at an average of 40.71. Also, he had an amazing strike rate of 142+. He also hit one half-century and an unbeaten century.
Rajasthan Royals spent Rs. 16.25 crore to buy Chris Morris in IPL 2021 auction, making him the costliest player ever in the history of Indian Premier League auctions. RR, who finished on the last spot in IPL 2020, needs a dependable pacer in the team.
Chris Morris has filled this vacant spot and Rajasthan Royals will give him full opportunities to prove his worth to the team. The South-African all-rounder will be one overseas player who will be part of the playing 11 in every match in IPL 2021.
With 20 wickets in 14 games, Jofra Archer was the most successful bowler for RR in IPL 2020. He played all the 14 games in the tournament and had an amazing economy of 6.55. He is the backbone of the Rajasthan Royals’ bowling department.
Like the last season, the English cricketer Jofra Archer will be seen on the field in every game of Rajasthan Royals in IPL 2021.
