Star Australian pacer, Mitchell Starc has kept his name away from the IPL 2021 auction which is all set to take place on February 18 in Chennai. Notably, Starc had not given his name for the IPL 2019 auction due to injury and then he again refused to give in his name for IPL 2020 auction stating preparation for the ICC T20 World Cup.

Now, once again, he has taken his name back from the IPL 2021 auction and has decided to stay away from the Glitz and Glam of the richest cricket league in the world. A total of 1097 players – 814 from India and 283 from overseas – registered for the auction by the deadline of February 4, and Starc’s is the most prominent name missing.
