Both teams started this IPL season with a defeat but won their respective second matches of this season. While Delhi Capitals (DC) comfortably chased down the 189 runs target against Chennai Super Kings, Chennai Super Kings thrashed Punjab Kings (PBKS) after restricting them to only 106 runs.

In the meantime, Rajasthan Royals had a high-scoring contest against Punjab Kings, where Rajasthan lost that match by four runs as they just failed to chase the 222 runs target. But in their second game of this season, Rajasthan Royals managed to beat Delhi Capitals in another close game.

Coming to the upcoming match, it will be the 25th T20 meeting between CSK and RR.
