In-form Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) will play their fourth match of the IPL 2021 this Thursday (22nd April) when they will compete against Rajasthan Royals (RR) at Wankhede Stadium (Mumbai).
RCB have won all their first three games of this IPL 2021. After beating the defending champions Mumbai Indians (MI) by two wickets in the first game of this tournament, RCB beat SunRisers Hyderabad (SRH) and Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) by 6 runs and 38 runs respectively.

Opener Devdutt Padikkal played the last two matches of this IPL 2021 where the youngster scored just 11 and 25 runs respectively. However, before the IPL 2021, he was in very good form with the bat in domestic cricket and RCB team management has enough strong faith in this youngster.

South African cricketer AB de Villiers started this IPL 2021 in a positive way as he played the crucial match-winning knock of 48 runs against the defending champions Mumbai Indians. Though he was dismissed for one run in the next match, he then won the Player of the Match award for his impressive batting performance as he scored 76 not out off just 36 balls in his last game.
Australian cricketer Glenn Maxwell is currently in impressive form with the bat as he has scored 176 runs in the IPL 2021 with the help of two half-centuries. His scores in this tournament are 39, 59 and 78 runs respectively. Surely, his strong presence has made the RCB batting line-up more dangerous.
Australian cricketer Daniel Christian didn’t play the last game for RCB but he can be a crucial player for his team in the upcoming game at Mumbai. In those first two games, Christian got very limited opportunities.
While Mumbai has brought good batting pitches in this IPL 2021, Suyash Prabhudessai can strengthen the middle-order batting as he is the proper middle-order batsman who recently impressed in domestic cricket. His T20 batting strike rate is 148.13.
Shahbaz Ahmed was one of the heroes for RCB during their victory against SRH as he took three crucial wickets in an over that totally changed the situation of that game. Since that, he hasn’t bowled over yet. Though the Mumbai track is not useful for the spinners yet, left-arm spinner Shahbaz Ahmed can be used for the variation role. Also, he is a useful middle-order batsman.
New Zealand cricketer Kyle Jamieson has picked up 5 wickets in three matches of the IPL 2021. In the last match against KKR, Jamieson had bowling figures of 3-0-41-3 as he provided some crucial breakthroughs in that game to secure a comfortable win for his team.
Harshal Patel has hugely impressed with the ball in hand in the early IPL 2021 as he is currently the Purple Cap holder with 9 wickets in three matches. While he bagged five wickets against Mumbai Indians in this tournament, he is really consistent in the crucial death overs and becoming a game-changer.
Though Mohammed Siraj has picked up only two wickets in three matches of this IPL 2021 as he managed to pick up the wicket only in his second game, he is bowling in very much control as his early tournament economy rate is 5.81. He is creating pressure for the opponents and setting up a good platform for the other RCB bowlers.
The leg-spinner Yuzvendra Chahal is struggling to pick up wickets regularly as he failed to take any wicket in his first two matches of this IPL 2021. However, in the last game, he got two wickets which will surely boost his confidence. But he now has to maintain it for a longer period.
