Delhi Capitals (DC) will face SunRisers Hyderabad (SRH) at MA Chidambaram Stadium (Chepauk, Chennai) this Sunday (25th April) night during the 20th match of the IPL 2021. It will be their fifth game of this season.
Delhi Capitals have won thrice but lost once in this early period of this IPL 2021. While Rajasthan Royals (RR) beat them in a close contest, Delhi Capitals beat Chennai Super Kings (CSK), Punjab Kings (PBKS) and Mumbai Indians (MI).

Australian cricketer Marcus Stoinis has got limited opportunities in the early period of the IPL 2021. Talking about his performance, Stoinis scored 27 not out off 13 balls in their third match of this season against PBKS which helped them to win that game. In their last match, Stoinis also picked up his first wicket of this season when he dismissed the Mumbai Indians opener, Quinton de Kock.
All-rounder Lalit Yadav has got limited opportunities in his first three matches of this IPL 2021 but mostly played positive roles in those chances. After scoring 20 runs in his first game of this season, Lalit successfully helped Delhi Capitals to finish the last two matches after remaining not out on 12 and 22 runs respectively. In their last match, Lalit also took his first wicket in his IPL career after dismissing Krunal Pandya for just one run.
While the off-spinner Ravichandran Ashwin has struggled in the early of the IPL 2021, he can be dropped for while. As Axar Patel has just joined the side after recovering from COVID-19, he can replace Ashwin in the forthcoming match.
England cricketer Chris Woakes was rested in the last match. In this early IPL 2021, Woakes has performed really well as he has taken 5 wickets in three matches. He is playing a major role in this Delhi Capitals’ team.
The leg-spinner Amit Mishra missed out on the middle two matches of the first four games of this IPL 2021. But on return in the previous match, the second most IPL wicket-taker Mishra won the Player of the Match award after managing the match-winning bowling figures of 4-0-24-4.
IPL 2020 Purple Cap winner Kagiso Rabada has picked up 4 wickets in the three matches of this IPL 2021. The South African pacer is currently in good touch and he is ready to maintain his strong image in the IPL too.
Avesh Khan has highly impressed in the early IPL 2021 as he has managed to pick up 8 wickets in four matches. The youngster is really consistent with the ball in hand and playing a major role in this bowling line-up.
