SunRisers Hyderabad (SRH) are getting ready to play their fifth match of the IPL 2021 where they will face Delhi Capitals (DC) at MA Chidambaram Stadium (Chepauk, Chennai).
In their first three matches of this IPL 2021, SRH lost against Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR), Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) and Mumbai Indians (MI). But in their last game, SRH beat Punjab Kings (PBKS) and claimed their first win of this season.

England cricketer Jonny Bairstow is currently the leading run-scorer for SRH in the IPL 2021 as he has scored 173 runs in four innings. After scoring 55 and 12 runs in the first two matches as the middle-order batsman, Bairstow opened in the last two games and scored 43 and 63 not out. He is currently in an impressive form as a batsman.
New Zealand captain Kane Williamson finally played his first match in the IPL 2021 during the last match of SRH where he scored 16 not out. Before he faced injury, Williamson was in strong form in batting at home as he maintained the strong batsman image in every format.
Virat Singh has played the last two games of this tournament. On his IPL debut during the match against Mumbai Indians, Virat Singh scored 11 runs while he didn’t bat in the last game. The youngster was in impressive form in the recent domestic cricket, where he also scored a century in the T20 competition.
Experienced cricketer Kedar Jadhav made his debut for SRH in their last game where his only effective role was to successfully take a catch as he didn’t bowl or bat in that game. Now, he has to prove himself in the IPL 2021.
All-rounder Vijay Shankar has got limited opportunities in this early moment of the IPL 2021. In their third match of this tournament against the defending champions Mumbai Indians, Vijay took two wickets (2/19) and scored fighting 28 runs.
All-rounder Abhishek Sharma played the last two matches. While he scored only two runs in his first game of the IPL 2021, the left-arm spinner took two wickets in the last game (2/24). The young all-rounder was in good form during the recent Vijay Hazare Trophy 2020/21.
The leg-spinner Rashid Khan has taken 5 wickets in four matches of the IPL 2021. His economy rate of this tournament is also really impressive – 5.06. While he is very much disciplined with the ball, the other bowlers are getting opportunities.
The right-arm pacer Bhuvneshwar Kumar has picked up three wickets in his first four matches of this IPL 2021. Though his economy rate in this tournament is 9.06, he was in better touch in the last game against PBKS where he had bowling figures of 3-0-16-1. His strong bowling performance will lead the SRH team to a higher position.
During the last match of SRH, the right-arm medium pacer Siddarth Kaul played his first match of the IPL 2021 where he had bowling figures of 3.4-0-27-1. He was in strong form in the recent domestic season where he also claimed a hat-trick during the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy 2020/21.
The left-arm pacer Khaleel Ahmed has taken 4 wickets in two games of this IPL 2021. In the last match against PBKS, Khaleel had bowling figures of 4-0-21-3 as he dismissed opener Mayank Agarwal (22), Shahrukh Khan (22) and Fabian Allen (6).
