KKR vs GT: Revealed - Why Jason Roy And Umesh Yadav Are Not Playing Today's IPL 2023 Match Against Gujarat Titans

Kolkata Knight Riders (RR) will take on Gujarat Titans (GT) in the 39th match of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023 at the Eden Gardens in Kolkata. The home side has suffered the blow and will be without the services of Jason Roy and Umesh Yadav in the game. 

The English batter suffered a back spasm in the morning and was deemed unfit to play the game whereas Umesh Yadav tweaked his hamstring in the last game. In their places, Rahmanullah Gurbaz and Harshit Rana have got the opportunity and would be looking to make the most of it.

“We would have batted first, DLS could come into the equation, but we would still have batted first. There are always areas where we can improve, we have had some forced changes – Jason Roy has a back issue, and he’s replaced by Gurbaz. Harshit Rana replaces Umesh Yadav.”
