The NED vs ENG series will come to an end with the third and final game on July 22, Wednesday at the VRA Cricket Ground, Amstelveen. England registered their fifth win over the Netherlands in the previous game. The visitors are now looking to complete a whitewash against the minnows.
The series was played with different intentions by the two teams. While England played the series to get some good match practise before their series against India, the Netherlands looked to topple England at home which did not happen.
The series was a tale of two captains. Pieter Seelaar was forced to retire from the game after his constant back injuries. Eoin Morgan, on the other hand, has failed to score a run in the series so far. Morgan was also dismissed by Seelaar in the first ODI where England scored 498 but Morgan found it difficult to buy a run.
Heading into the last and final game, England should look to stay with the same team. The Netherlands. on the other end, can look to give chances to a few players to wrap up the NED vs ENG ODI series.
