"Now He Will Get A Good Break And Come Back Fully Recharged" - Dinesh Karthik on Virat Kohli

Indian wicket-keeper batter Dinesh Karthik said that a player of Virat Kohli’s calibre cannot be out of form for too long and he has a break where he can rejuvenate and come back into the Indian team.
Kohli has been rested for the white-ball tour of West Indies and will be returning to the setup for the Asia Cup that is scheduled to be played in Sri Lanka in late August.
“Virat has experienced insane success over the period of time. Now he will get a good break and will come back all recharged and hopefully, will do phenomenally well. You can never rule out a player of his calibre,” Karthik told the Times of India.

Speaking about his comeback to the T20I side after almost a 3-year gap, Karthik said he always had his eyes on it and worked hard towards achieving his goal.
“It is never easy, but I have worked hard for it. Also, given the bench strength that we have today, the competition is always going to be a part of it. This is the beauty of Indian cricket,” he said.
“As a team, we are preparing for the challenges we will have to face” – Dinesh Karthik
With the T20 World Cup coming up this year in Australia, the teams are finalizing their squads. India has given opportunities to plenty of players and batters like Deepak Hooda have made the most of it.

“As a team, we are preparing for the challenges we will have to face during the upcoming World Cup. Coach Rahul Dravid and Rohit Sharma have taken everyone along as we prepare for the big event. It is a very positive environment,” he concluded.
