Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has given the green light to a proposal from New Zealand Cricket (NZC) for a bilateral white-ball series early next year. The series is expected to consist of either five T20 Internationals (T20Is) or three One Day Internationals (ODIs), as reported by local media sources.

The NZC board has suggested that the series take place following Pakistan’s tour of Australia, which is set to conclude in January 2024. This proposed timing aligns well with New Zealand’s schedule, as they have a vacant period before their home series against South Africa in February.

The anticipated series between Pakistan and New Zealand is slated to kick off in the second week of January, right after the conclusion of the three-match Test series between Pakistan and Australia on January 7, 2024.

Both cricket boards are now collaborating to finalize crucial details such as the number of matches and the designated venues for the series.
