Hasan Ali

Pakistan fast bowler Hasan Ali surely is a crowd’s favorite. He never leaves an opportunity to make the headlines with his antics on the field. This was evident ahead of the second Test against Australia at Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG) on 26th December.

Pakistan Cricket Team have begun their preparations for the second Test against Australia despite the game being around a week away. They were seen hitting the ground running and getting into the groove ahead of the all-important clash for them.

Meanwhile, a video of the fast bowler Hasan Ali has gone viral on social media where he was seen entertaining his teammates with hilarious dance steps and the video of that went viral on the internet.

In the video that had hogged headlines, Hasan Ali can be seen matching the dance steps of Australian dancers, who were present on the ground and were seen performing their traditional aboriginal Australian dance. The fast bowler made some hilarious moves and his teammates, who were around, were left in splits.

Here’s the video:

Hasan Ali wasn’t part of Pakistan XI for the first Test against Australia. The team preferred two debutants in Khurram Shahzad and Aamer Jamal over him and it raised quite a few eyebrows. His experience was sorely missed in the Australian conditions as bowlers didn’t have a great outing.

With Pakistan bowlers struggling to get going in the first Test, it won’t be a surprise if Hasan Ali is drafted into the team for the second Test. He has performed well for the team in the longest format of the game and it’s fair to say that his experience will be handy for the team in remaining games.

AUS vs PAK: Hasan Ali wasn’t selected for 1st Test, and Pakistan faced a crushing 360-run loss

Hasan Ali’s absence was quite evident in the first game as Pakistan suffered a massive 360-run loss against Australia in the first game in Perth. It was a horrendous outing for the Shan Masood-led side with both bat and ball as the hosts outplayed them in all three departments.

After posting a gigantic total of 487 runs on the board in the first innings and after Pakistan started off well as the top three made handy contributions. But the hosts made a solid comeback and picked wickets at regular intervals to bundle out opposition just 271 runs in their first innings.

With 215 runs lead already in the bag, Australia added 233 runs more and set a gigantic total of over 450 runs for Pakistan to chase. Pakistan were blown away in their second innings as Australian pacers. Micthell Starc and Josh Hazlewood were all over them. They castled the opposition for just 89 runs to win the game by 360 runs and take a 1-0 lead in the series.

Pakistan would be eager to make a comeback in the second Test. New skipper Shan Masood will have a point to prove as his team hasn’t won a Test in Australia for over 20 years. He would be hoping the change that in the MCG Test.
