England and Pakistan go head to head in the sixth T20I in Lahore on September 30. The hosts are leading the series 3-2 winning the last two games. England have to win this game to keep the series alive. The series has been very closely fought so far and in the process have prepared the teams well for the T20 World Cup

Aamer Jamal was the hero for Pakistan in the fifth T20I as he defended 15 off his final over. He gave way just 8 runs as he nailed his wide yorkers helping his side win the game.  Pakistan skipper Babar Azam has high praise for the debutant. He hailed the side and had a special mention for him in his post-match interaction.

“The way Rizwan built the innings, the pitch was two-paced and he played well. The confidence of Aamer Jamal was high and he was confident he could do it in that last over. To win T20Is, you need wickets and in the middle overs, Shadab produced that. These things build up the team and gives us confidence” said Babar.

England skipper Moeen Ali also had a word on the game. He said that it was a good game and he is disappointed with the performance of his players.

“Very good game, disappointed. We are a better team than that. We struggled in the middle, with their spinners who bowled well. We knew it was hard for the bowlers to control with the dew and overnight rain, we needed to hang in there and go hard at the end. Hes amazing. On a real slow wicket, he bowled fast. He is massive for our team. He gets the big wickets and he’s been awesome in the two games he has played for us [on Wood]” said Moeen Ali.
