Pakistan Playing 11 vs India- Asia Cup 2923, Match 3. Pakistan take on India in match 3 of Asia Cup 2023 in Pallekele Sri Lanka on September 2. The match starts at 3 pm IST. This is the third game overall and the second Group A game. India kicked off their Asia Cup campaign with this game.

Ahead of the World Cup, the Asia Cup allows them to fine-tune their 15-member squad for the tournament. The PCB has announced a 17-member squad for the Asia Cup with Babar Azam leading the side.

Last year, Pakistan lost to Sri Lanka in the final of the Asia Cup. Babar is yet to win a major tournament as captain for Pakistan and he will have his eyes set on the World Cup. It is Pakistan’s bowling attack which gives them a real chance to win the Asia Cup this year. The trio of Shaheen Afridi, Naseem Shah, and Haris Rauf with their pace and swing sets them apart from the other bowlers in the tournament.

Unfortunately, there is a rain threat hovering around the PAK vs IND Asia Cup game. As per reliable weather sources, there is an 80 percent chance of rain in Pallekele, Kany on September 2.
