Prithvi Shaw Named Skipper Of Mumbai Ahead Of Ranji Trophy 2022 Knockout Stage

Mumbai has confirmed that Prithvi Shaw will be the skipper of the side in the knockout stages of the Ranji Trophy 2022 season. After the group stage ended prior to the IPL 2022 season’s commencement, knockouts will begin on June 6 in Bengaluru.
Mumbai will be facing off against Uttarakhand in the quarterfinals. The domestic giants’ selection panel, led by Salil Ankola, confirmed a 21-man squad late on Monday night.
Sarfaraz Khan, who has been in the form of his life for Mumbai, will be expected to turn up once again. He has had a moderate IPL 2022 season for the Delhi Capitals, which was eliminated in the group stages on Saturday.

Rajasthan Royals (RR) opener, Yashasvi Jaiswal will be hoping to carry on his form from the IPL where he made a great comeback. After being dropped early on, Jaiswal returned and has taken over from prolific batter, Jos Buttler.
As for the bowling attack under Shaw, veteran Dhawal Kulkarni will lead the pack. He will be backed up by fellow pacer Tushar Deshpande and the all-rounder Shams Mulani.
