The fans got to see one of the best ODI knocks by Rohit Sharma in the second ODI against Australia during 2013. Australia put on a sensational batting performance in the first innings and had scored 359 runs. India, however, didn’t lose heart and exhibited a wonderful batting display in the second innings.

Shikhar Dhawan and Rohit Sharma gave the team a sensational start as the duo added 176 runs for the first wicket. Virat Kohli then played a spectacular knock while coming at three. Rohit Sharma, on the other hand, started off a second fiddle before shifting gears later on. He remained unbeaten till the end and guided India home in just 43.3 overs. Rohit Sharma managed to score 141 runs in 123 balls, a knock which was laced with 17 fours and 4 sixes.
