The second SA vs WI ODI will be played at Buffalo Park in East London on March 16. After South Africa won the Test series 2-0, they now take on West Indies in a three-match OSI series with ODI Super League points for ICC World Cup 2023 qualification up for grabs.Â
The first ODI was abandoned without a ball being bowled due to rain. The Proteas have a huge task on their hands amid injury concerns with several of their key players missing. Ahead of the second ODI, Wiaan Mulder and Keshav Maharaj have been withdrawn because of a side strain and a torn Achilles.

West Indies are placed eighth in the Super League rankings with 88 points followed by South Africa with 78 points.Â
