Centurion will host the first SA vs WI T20I on March 25 starting from 2 pm local time. This is the first of the three-match T20I series. Centurion will also host the second T20I (March 26) and Johannesburg the last on Tuesday (March 28).
Both teams have played 16 T20Is with South Africa winning 10 games and West Indies six. Aiden Markram will lead South Africa while Rovman Powell will lead West Indies after stepping down as the white-ball captain after the T20 World Cup. Several players from both teams will depart for India for IPL 2023 after the end of the series.
