Scotland vs Zimbabwe Live- When And Where To Watch The 2nd T20I Live In Your Country?Scotland won the first of the ongoing three-match T20 series against Zimbabwe by 7 runs on Wednesday. With that win, they have taken a 1-0 lead with two games left to be played.

Scotland won the toss and opted to bat first in the first game. They didn’t make an ideal start with the bat, losing the first three wickets for just 17 runs. The top three comprising of Munsey (1 off 2), Coetzer (2 off 3) and O Hairs (5 off 3) had little to contribute.

MacLeod soon followed them after scoring 6 off 12 balls. Berrington and M Cross then led the recovery but only for a brief period. The duo added 45 runs for the fifth wicket before Cross (14 off 18) got out in the 13th over. Berrington, however, kept finding boundaries at the other end and singlehandedly guided the team to a competitive score.

Berrington played an unbeaten 82-run knock off 61 balls and helped the team score 141 runs in the first innings. All the bowlers bowled well for Zimbabwe. Jongwe and Chatara finished with two wickets each, while Masakadza and NGarava took one apiece.

Scotland, made the worst possible start to their innings as they lost both their openers inside the first three overs. Chakabva (17 off 17) and Ervine (26 off 27), however, led the team’s recovery as the duo added 48 runs for the third wicket. However, neither of them could on to play a big knock for the side.

Shumba remained unbeaten for his 45 off 30 balls but fell short of support at the other end. Zimbabwe, in the end, could manage to score 134 runs, falling 7 runs short of the target.

The second T20 international will be played on Friday at Grange Cricket Club.
