Sri Lanka is set to host Zimbabwe for an ODI series. The SL vs ODI series 2022 consists of three ODI encounters. The SL vs ZIM 1st ODI will take place on January 16. The 2nd and 3rd ODI are scheduled to take place on January 18 and 21 respectively. All the SL vs ZIM ODI matches will be played at Pallekele International Cricket Stadium in Pallekele.

Sri Lanka last played an ODI series in September last year, when they hosted South Africa in three ODI games. Sri Lanka won the series 2-1 after winning the 1st and 3rd ODI. The hosts won the 1st ODI by 14 runs and the 3rd ODI by 78 runs. They lost the 2nd ODI by 67 runs.

Talking about Zimbabwe, their previous ODI series took place during the Ireland tour in September 2021. Zimbabwe played 3 ODIs during the tour. Zimbabwe won the 1st ODI by 38 and lost the 3rd ODI by 7 wickets. The 2nd ODI ended with no result. Hence, the series ended in a tie 1-1.
