Indian Cricket team skipper Virat Kohli’s leadership abilities have taken India to new heights after Mahendra Singh Dhoni stepped down as an astute leader. With his captaincy and hunger for runs, Kohli has become a nightmare for many teams across the cricketing globe.

Meanwhile, he has taken the role of being a doting husband quite seamlessly. In a video, that is going rounds, Kohli recently revealed the name of his off-field captain.

Kohli admitted that his wife and Bollywood actress Anushka Sharma is the captain at home.

Responding to a question, Kohli revealed that his wife takes all the decisions at home and she is the off-field leader. He is also grateful to her for keeping him motivated and helping him with decisions.

She (Anushka Sharma) is, of course. She takes all the right decisions in life. She’s totally my strength and she keeps me positive all the time, and that’s what you want in a life partner so I’m very grateful,” Kohli said in a video interview.

Earlier, Kohli has eventually hailed his better half for playing a significant role in his life when the former looked off colour on the field.

Kohli also added the Anushka understands the sentiments of all the players and understands the game.

She is very passionate about the game. She understands the game and she can understand the sentiments of all the players, what they go through and stuff, which I think is the most beautiful thing,” he added.

Meanwhile, Anushka and Virat Kohli got married in December last year in Italy owing to a low-key ceremony.

However, later on, they hosted two wedding receptions in Delhi and Mumbai, respectively.

The bold actress also came to see Royal Challengers Bangalore‘s (RCB) home games at M. Chinnaswamy Stadium. However, RCB’s poor run in Indian Premier League (IPL) continued as they once again failed to make it to the playoffs of the season eleven of the Twenty20 league.
