Ahead of their upcoming summit clash against New Zealand in the ICC World Test Championship final, Team India is busy sweating out in an intra-squad game in Southampton.

On Sunday, the Board of Control for Cricket in India [BCCI] finally posted a video of the second day of the match. The video starts with KL Rahul dancing down the track and smashing Ravindra Jadeja over long-on for a six.

In the same video, we can see the duo of Cheteshwar Pujara and Rohit Sharma batting against the duo of Umesh Yadav and Avesh Khan. While Umesh Yadav can be seen pitching the ball up and around off-stump, the bounce that Avesh Khan was generating off the surface was worth noticing.

In one of the deliveries, the ball kicks off the good length and Pujara is forced to shoulder arms and leave the ball on length. While Avesh Khan has been picked as one of the standby players, Umesh Yadav is one of the five seamers in the main squad.

However, we did not get the likes of Ishant, Sharma, Mohammed Shami, Mohammed Siraj, or Jasprit Bumraj bowl, nor did we see Shubman Gill, Rishabh Pant, captain Virat Kohli with the bat.

Yesterday, the BCCI posted on their Twitter account, the main performers from the 1st day of the intra-squad match.

They revealed that Shubman Gill scored 85 off 135 deliveries while Rishabh Pant away with an unbeaten 121* off 94 deliveries. Ishant Sharma was revealed as the leading performer with the ball, having taken 3/36. However, we saw a glimpse of Gill and Pant’s innings and Ishant’s bowling in a short video that the BCCI shared on Saturday.

In the video, Gill can be seen playing his favorite pull shot and Rishabh Pant dancing down the track to hit a spinner over long-on. Also,  the BCCI, on Saturday, also shared a video in which Virat Kohli can be seen trying his hand at bowling.
