We Are Hoping He Agrees - BCA Keen On Having Deepak Hooda Return To Play For Baroda

Baroda Cricket Association (BCA) is reportedly hoping to see the return of one of their star batters, Deepak Hooda, ahead of the upcoming domestic season.
Hooda had switched to Rajasthan last year after a fall-out with the skipper, Krunal Pandya. The two were involved in an ugly exchange and Hooda had alleged that Krunal had verbally abused him.
However, the duo ended up playing for Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) after being bought by the franchise in the auction and have reconciled ever since, as confirmed by Hooda himself.
“We are trying to convince Deepak Hooda to come back” – BCA
Hooda has played 46 first-class games for Baroda, piling up 2908 runs at an average of 43. His presence will be a huge boost to the side, especially with the form he is in and BCA is desperate to see him return.
“Whatever has happened, has happened. We are trying to convince Hooda to come back and play for Baroda again. He too has now patched up with Krunal, so there is no reason left for not coming back to Baroda.”
Hooda has also had a great IPL 2022 season, scoring 406 runs in 14 matches for Lucknow at an average of 31.23 and a strike rate of 133.55, including four half-centuries.
