West Indies Announce Their Squad For Upcoming White-Ball Tour Of Pakistan

The West Indies cricket team will be touring Pakistan for a white-ball series next month. Ahead of the tour, the Cricket West Indies (CWI) announced the squad for the same.

Kieron Pollard will be leading the side which is brimming with plenty of new prospects. There were several changes made to the side that played the previous T20I in the T20 World Cup.

Andre Russell, Evin Lewis, Shimron Hetmyer, and Lendl Simmons are unavailable for the series due to personal reasons. As for Jason Holder, the management has decided to rest him in order to manage his workload. Obed McCoy and Fabian Allen are undergoing rehabilitation following injuries sustained during the T20 World Cup.

The upcoming ODI series will be part of the ICC Men’s ODI Super League. West Indies is in dire need of points as they are languishing in eighth place on the table. The top seven teams will automatically qualify for the 2023 ODI World Cup.
