After winning the Test series, West Indies hosts Bangladesh in a three-match T20I and ODI series starting with the first T20I on July 2. The Windies won the test series 2-0 and are now looking to win the white-ball series at home.

Overall, in 13 T20Is between both sides, West Indes have won seven and Bangladesh has come out victorious on five occasions. This series, however, is important for both teams to move up on the ICC T20I rankings. It is also important looking at the T20 World Cup 2022 preparations.

Shakib Al Hasa led the Test side, Mahmudullah will led the T20I side and Tamim Iqbal will lead the ODI side. Tamim has taken a break from playing T20I cricket. Meanwhile, Shakib has opted out of the ODI series as it is not part of the ICC ODI Super League.
