The Women’s Premier League (WPL) 2024, which will be the second edition of the marquee T20 competition organized by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI), is all set to be played across two different cities in India.

The 5-team Women’s Premier League (WPL) is set to be played in Bengaluru and Mumbai and the tournament is reportedly scheduled to start in the month of February, according to the reports in Women’s CricZone.

Earlier, it was reported that the second edition of the WPL would be played in the home and away format just like the Men’s league, but the latest reports claim this won’t be the case as only two cities will host all the matches.

Also, the same format as the first season of the tournament will be followed in the WPL 2024 where the teams finishing in the top three enter the knockouts with the No.1 team sealing a place in the final while No.2 and No.3 teams battling it out in the Eliminator.
