ZIM vs AFG: Match Preview – Afghanistan Tour of Zimbabwe 2022, 1st T20I. Zimbabwe and Afghanistan will square off against each other in an upcoming T20I series. ZIM vs AFG T20I series will witness three games. The opening T20I clash will take place on June 11 (Saturday) at Harare Sports Club in Harare.

Both the teams also played a three-match ODI series recently. In the ODI series, Afghanistan defeated Zimbabwe in all three games to bag 3-0 victory. In ZIM vs AFG 1st ODI, Afghanistan batted first and piled up 276-5. Rahmat Shah and Hashmatullah Shahidi smacked fabulous knocks of 94 and 88 respectively. Later, the visitors bowled out Zimbabwe for 216, winning the match by 60 runs.

In the 2nd ODI, Zimbabwe was bowled out for 228 batting first. Innocent Kaia scored the most 67 runs for the team. Later, Ibrahim Zadran (120*) shattered a spectacular unbeaten century for Afghanistan and led the team to victory by 8 wickets. Rahmat Shah also hit a good knock of 88 runs.

In the 3rd and final ODI, Zimbabwe batted first and was bowled out for just 135. They faced a big batting collapse and Sikandar Raza scored the most 38 runs for the team. Later, Afghanistan managed to reach the target by 4 wickets.
