The hosts Zimbabwe and the visitors Pakistan will face each other this Friday (23rd April) during the second match of the three-match T20I series at Harare Sports Club. According to the official schedule, this match will begin at 11:00 AM local time.
Currently, Pakistan are leading this T20I series by 1-0 with two matches to go. They played the series opener this Wednesday (21st April) at the same venue where the visitors won by 11 runs.
After the Zimbabwean captain Sean Williams chose to field first, Pakistan managed to score 149/7 (20 overs) at the end of the first innings, majorly thanks to their opener Mohammad Rizwan who scored 82 not out off 61 balls (10 fours and only six). While there were no other visiting batsmen to reach the 20-run mark in that game, only two more visiting batsmen reached the double-digit marks in that innings.
Later, Pakistan restricted the hosts to 138/7 (20 overs). Though Craig Ervine (34), Luke Jongwe (30) and Tinashe Kamunhukamwe (29) scored crucial runs, there was no strong support from the other batsmen.
Talking about the upcoming match, Pakistan need to win one more match in this series to secure this series while Zimbabwe must have to win both the remaining matches to win this home T20I series.
