Amitabh Bachchan Wishes Virat-Anushka on their Marriage

After several days of speculations, Team India skipper Virat Kohli has tied the knot with Bollywood actress Anushka Sharma in a private ceremony at Milan in Italy on 11^th December. The auspicious occasion was attended by close family members of Virat and Anushka. As per reports only Sachin Tendulkar and Yuvraj Singh were present in the marriage ceremony among cricketers.

The speculations surrounding their marriage started doing the rounds when Virat opted out of the limited-overs series against Sri Lanka. Earlier a spokesperson of Anushka Sharma had denied the reports of their marriage claiming it to be false. The power couple has however brought all the speculations to a standstill following their marriage in Italy.

It was Kohli who took his twitter handle and shared an emotional message where he expressed his love for Anushka and promised to be by her side forever. “Today we have promised each other to be bound in love forever. We are truly blessed to share the news with you. This beautiful day will be made more special with the love and support of our family of fans & well-wishers. Thank you for being such an important part of our journey,” Virat wrote. The same message was shared by Anushka.

Undoubtedly the biggest Bollywood actor the country has ever seen, Amitabh Bachchan congratulated the couple on this auspicious day, Replying to Anushka’s status Big B wrote, “Anushka & Virat .. love and wishes for this auspicious day .. togetherness always !!”

The Indian skipper is expected to give a lavish party to his teammates on 21^st December before Team India leaves for South Africa for a gruelling tour comprising of 3 TTests 6 ODI’s and 3 T20I’s. Amidst the marriage, it was a much-needed rest for Kohli who has been playing non-stop cricket for the past one and a half years. He has already smashed several batting records and with the kind of form he is in, the Indian skipper might go on to break every possible batting records in the near future.
