Arjun Tendulkar, son of the legendary Sachin Tendulkar, needs little introduction. While the youngster is yet to make it big in the game, he is quite popular in the country. Arjun Tendulkar is a fast-bowling bowling allrounder. He earned his maiden India U19 call-up in 2018 but was not eligible for the U19 World Cup because of his age.

Later in November in the same year, he had impressed in the Vinoo Mankad Trophy. The left-arm pacer had bagged the figures of 5/30 to help Mumbai thrash Gujarat by 9 wickets. He had also taken 3 for just 14 runs off seven overs in Mumbai’s 10-wicket win over Assam. In that same month, he had taken six wickets for 70 runs while playing for Vijay Merchant XI against Vijay Manjrekar XI in the KC Mahindra Shield U-19 tournament.

Arjun Tendulkar, in fact, has been doing well for the last two years or so. In the 2017-18 Cooch Behar Trophy, he had picked up 19 wickets in five matches, including two five-wicket hauls for Mumbai Under-19. Last year, he had made it to Mumbai’s U23 side as well. Well, the youngster is on the right path and if he continue to deliver like this, he can make it big in the game.

Favourite left-arm pacer:

At the time being, Arjun Tendulkar is confident to his home just like anyone else because of the coronavirus pandemic. And on Sunday, he decided to hold a Q/A session on Instagram. He asked his followers to ask him questions and they duly obliged.

One of the followers asked him to name his favourite left-arm pacer. In reply, Arjun Tendulkar named not one but two fast-bowlers and both of them are from Australia. He revealed that former Australia pacer Mitchell Johnson and their current pace spearhead Mitchell Starc are his favourite left-arm pacers.
