Arjun Tendulkar Names His Favourite Women Cricketer

Arjun Tendulkar, who broke into the India U-19 squad in 2018, named England’s Danielle Wyatt as her favourite women cricketer. Arjun Tendulkar shares quite a camaraderie with Danielle Wyatt and it was quite evident when he visited England to enjoy his break after not being picked up for the Youth ODI in 2018.

During his time in London, Arjun Tendulkar spent his time with Wyatt. The all-rounder has represented England in 74 ODIs and 109 T20Is. She is one of the marquee player of the England women’s cricket team and last featured in the T20 World  Cup 2020.

Arjun Tendulkar, who had lunch with Danielle Wyatt at Nandos during his England break in 2018 made the revelation during an interactive session on Instagram. Incidentally, a few years back, Wyatt had asked India captain Virat Kohli to marry her. However, she also posted a congratulatory message for Virat Kohli after he tied the knot with Bollywood actor Anushka Sharma in Italy.

During India’s tour to England in 2018, Wyatt had also trolled the junior Tendulkar. It came after Arjun Tendulkar was in the thick of things. He was seen selling radios outside the stadium to helping the groundsmen. He had also bowled at nets to the Indian batsmen.

Arjun Tendulkar last featured for the Second Eleven Championship in 2019. He was plying his trade for the MCC Youth Club and picked up 11 wickets in 10 matches. Tendulkar, however, is yet to make a huge impact on the cricketing circuit.
