So, Asia Cup 2018 enters into the second stage of the tournament with Sri Lanka and Hong Kong leaving early. Similar to the group stage, Bangladesh once again set to start the proceedings of the new level. They will be locking horns against the defending champions, India at Dubai International Stadium. Meanwhile, we figured out Bangladesh’s predicted XI for the game.

Here is Bangladesh’s Predicted XI:

1. Liton Das –

The stylish right-handed batsman will take the strike against India for Bangladesh. He has got enough potential in him to tackle the world-class fast bowlers and can be the trump card for the team.

Meanwhile, his flashy batting in the powerplay overs can give Bangladesh a primary advantage if things fall in place for the youngster.

Perhaps, Mominul Haque can be the blessing in disguise for Bangladesh. He will take the role of injured Tamim Iqbal in the team for India’s clash.

Haque is in ominous form and can certainly play the match-winning knocks for the team. It would be interesting to see how the youngster blazes his gun.

3. Shakib Al Hasan –

The all-rounder Shakib Al Hasan will play a key role against India. He is the experienced campaigner in the unit and indeed can be a match-winner for the team.

Shakib will not only hold the key with the bat but also with his bowling as well. The chances for Bangladesh against India will directly proportional to Shakib’s performance.

4. Mushfiqar Rahim –

Much like Shakib Al Hasan, Mushfiqur Rahim will also be the pillar for Bangladesh team against India. He scored a scintillating knock against Sri Lanka and is high on confidence.

Rahim always got a nice record against India, and it would be interesting to see how he tackles the quality Indian bowling attack.

5. Mohammad Mithun –

The youngster will play his first game against India in his international career. Mohammad Mithun has been exceptional in the domestic circuit and played equally well for Bangladesh in his short career so far.

Mithun is an exciting prospect and would be interesting to see whether his nerves can deal with the situation or not.

6. Mahmadullah Riyad –

The all-rounder needs to pull up his socks to give Bangladesh an upper hand. The number of times Mahmadullah performed for the country is the number of times Bangladesh won the game.

He has always been a match-winner for the side and needs to work on his basics to come good against India. Meanwhile, team management would rely their trust on him.

7. Mosaddek Hossain –

The youngster’s performance for Bangladesh is always unnoticed but quite essential from the team’s point of view. He can give that balance in the lower-middle-order and also delivers a decent off-spin on a regular basis. He will once again be the key for the team in crunch situations of the match.

8. Mehidy Hasan –

Another off-spinner in the side who can make a big impact in the game is Mehidy Hasan. He has got that ability to bowl during the crucial phase of the game and got the knack of scoring runs for the team.

All in all, the team management would hope a match-winner performance from him with conditions suiting the spinners.

Another potential candidate for Bangladesh who can take the game away from India. He has got exceptional figures against India.

In fact, his emergence came into existence after those great spells against India in a bilateral series.

Meanwhile, he carries an exciting fact against Rohit Sharma as well. He picked Rohit five times before.

11. Rubel Hossain –

The right-handed fast bowler has got the nice numbers against India. He has always bowled his heart out against India and accumulated decent numbers in his kitty.

His spells with the new ball and in the death overs will be the match-changing moment for either team.
