Asia Cup 2018, Match 4: India vs Hong Kong - Twitter Reacts as India Hold their Nerves to Seal the Close Encounter

Team India staged a wonderful comeback riding on Yuzvendra Chahal to beat Hong Kong by 26 runs after their openers put on an outstanding opening partnership in the Asia Cup Group A match at Dubai.
Meanwhile, Dhawan made full use of the opportunity to return to form after Hong Kong asked India to bat first. Young left-arm spinner from Rajasthan, Khaleel Ahmed made his debut after Rohit Sharma showered heaps of praise on him.
Dhawan, who struggled in challenging conditions in England, stormed back to form in the first game in Asia Cup. He and stand-in skipper Rohit provided India with a good start dominating the weak Hong Kong bowling. However, Sharma departed against the run of play but Shikhar Dhawan continued to dominate the proceedings.
He then partnered Ambati Rayudu, who is coming on the back of some good form, to put India on top. The duo rotated the strike while the odd boundaries kept coming by. The cricketer from Delhi, however, was the aggressor of the two taking the attack to the opposition.
Although Rayudu departed while playing one down to the third man, Shikhar Dhawan was in his mood. Furthermore, Shikhar Dhawan continued to flourish as he brought his 14th ODI hundred in style against a weaker opponent in the Asia Cup. Although India lost few quick wickets, Dinesh Karthik and Kedar Jadhav ensured the men in blues post 285 runs on the board.
What looked like an easy win for Rohit & Co, the Hong Kong openers made lives of India bowlers tough. Nizakat Khan and skipper Anshuman Rath dominated the Indian attack as India stared defeat at one point of time. The duo looked comfortable as they played their shots against some quality bowling.
They added 174 runs for the first wicket before Kuldeep Yadav drew the first blood in the Hong Kong innings.
The duo played exceedingly well which send the Indian think tanks on the backfoot. He removed skipper Rath (73), as a result, another three followed with debutant Khaleel picking two out of it. This shifted the momentum of the game with Hong Kong struggling due to their inexperience. Yuzvendra Chahal bagged three wickets to dim Hong Kong’s chances as they fell 26 runs short to end their Asia Cup campaign.
However, the effort put in by the Hong Kong cricketers will remain etched forever in the memory of the cricket lovers.
Here is how the Twitter reacted as India begins their Asia Cup campaign in style against Hong Kong:

Asking rate has finally gone over 6 an over. And that should lead to a wicket falling. But ought to appreciate Nizakat and Anshuman. They’ve been sensational tonight….. #IndvHK #AsiaCup
