Pakistan will face Bangladesh on September 26 (Wednesday), and here we are to talk about the predicted XI of Pakistan team. However, Pakistan will play the last match of Super Four against Bangladesh after tasting a shocking defeat to India. Earlier, the Men in Green defeated Hong Kong in their campaign opener. India eventually hammered them in a low-scoring game.

Moreover, Pakistan would look to repair their batting order as well as their fielding and would like to bounce back in the game. They will try to defeat Bangladesh and put themselves into the final.

Meanwhile, Bangladesh will play after they won against Afghanistan in the Super Four match. The bowling line-up did exceptionally well, especially Mustifizur Rahman bowled a splendid last over. He restricted the Afghans to score eight runs off the last over and also picked up a wicket. Bangladesh will be keen to win the match and proceed themselves in the final.

Imam-ul-Haq played an excellent knock against Afghanistan and helped Pakistan to secure their position. He also declared himself to play for the next match.

However, he has scored runs with a slow pace and this might be the only drawback. Moreover, he has been in prolific form in the Asia Cup and the team will expect the same from him.

Fakhar Zaman hasn’t put up a good show in the ongoing Asia Cup. He only managed to score 55 runs throughout the tournament. The southpaw was the key component for Pakistan back in the 2017 Champions Trophy final.

However, he needs to score runs and put the pressure on the opposition. The management team will keep an eye on him and he will put up his best to conceive the opportunity.

Babar Azam

Babar Azam is one of the best batsmen in Pakistan’s batting line up. He is a stylish batsman of this era and is the backbone of the team. He batted well against Afghanistan with his partner Imam and helped his team to win the game.

However, he didn’t convert his start into something big but will be keen to do so for the upcoming match against Bangladesh.

Shoaib Malik

The right-hand veteran has a lot of experience on the field. He is the run machine of Pakistan team. Malik has scored 181 runs out of the four matches that he has played.

Moreover, Shoaib scored an unbeaten match-winning 51 runs against Afghanistan. Therefore, he will look to continue his good form against Bangladesh in the Asia Cup 2018.

Sarfraz Ahmed

Pakistan wicket-keeper batsman Sarfraz Ahmed is additionally doing an extra job for his team. He is the skipper of the team and will look to get some good runs under his belt against Bangladesh.

However, he scored 44 runs against India but could not lead his team to the win due to some poor fielding and bowling.

Mohammad Nawaz
