Pakistan captain, Sarfraz Ahmed didn’t let the pressure build on the Bangladesh batsmen in the virtual knockout game of Asia Cup 2018 in Abu Dhabi, and Twitter fans didn’t wait for long to slam him for poor captaincy.

However, Bangladesh skipper, Mashrafe Mortaza won the toss and elected to bat first. Bangladesh lost three wickets quickly scoring 12 runs on the board. Junaid Khan and Shaheen Afridi rattled the top order batsman in a quick time.

Moreover, Mushfiqur Rahim played brilliantly with partnered with Mithun for 144 runs for their fourth wicket. However, Rahim was unlucky, as he got out on 99. Not that their knocks have been chanceless, but Sarfraz Ahmed’s captaincy has been extremely poor in the game in Asia Cup 2018.

Sarfraz had altered the field placements unnecessarily and removing the slip was one of the biggest mistakes from him. Hasan Ali managed to create a chance twice in his spell and on both the occasions there was no fielder at the position.

Moreover, the attacking mindset was set for no reason which allowed Rahim and Mithun to settle. Sarfraz Ahmed also wasted a review when the latter was given not-out by the umpire.

However, Bangladesh posts 239 with the loss of ten wickets at the end of 48.5 overs.
