After the completion of the long series in England, its time to switch towards Asia Cup 2018 in the UAE. Meanwhile, the skipper of India for the event, Rohit Sharma dusts off his kit bag to get back into the net sessions.

It has been an almost one and a half month since watching India play the white-ball cricket. However, the time has passed pretty quickly with some superb game of cricket between England and India in the red-ball cricket.

Kit up for the next mission, Asia Cup 2018 – Rohit Sharma

The flamboyant India openerRohit Sharma posted a video of him practising in the net sessions. He tagged a line saying its time for the preparation of the upcoming prestigious event, Asia Cup 2018, which is scheduled to start on September 15th.

The batsman displayed his defence and drives to the throwdowns from one of his support staff.

Personally, Rohit was away from the game after missing out a place in the Test side against England. Nonetheless, he looked fluent in his net session.

Digging into Rohit Sharma’s post, it read quoting ”Kit up, pick your bat and focus is on the next mission Asia Cup 2018.” Meanwhile, fans showed their eagerness to watch him by replying to Rohit Sharma in the comments.

Team India schedule –

However, the Indians have embedded in the Group A that consists of their arch-rivals Pakistan and the winners in the Qualifiers, Hong Kong. They will start their tournament with a game against Hong Kong on September 18th.

Surprisingly, India were asked to lock horns against Pakistan on the very next day after facing Hong Kong. The two teams from the group stage will make a move to the super four round.
