The former India captain, Sourav Ganguly recently said Virat Kohli should not change his attitude, as because of it, he has come thus far in his career. Meanwhile, the Indian team has taken a one-nil lead in the four-match Test series. Moreover, Justin Langer, of late, talked about Virat Kohli’s celebration and said had the Aussies been doing that, they’d have been the worst blokes around. However, Ganguly said Kohli shouldn’t bother about such comments and should go about his celebrations.

“Virat should not desert his attitude as it has brought him so much success on the field. It has made him into the batsman that we all love and admire,” Sourav Ganguly said.

Sourav Ganguly further backed the Indian selectors to give a chance to Rohit Sharma in the next game as well, despite he failing to fire in Adelaide. Also, the former skipper said because of Rohit remaining to be a fantastic back-foot player; he would find success in Perth.

“I hope Rohit plays well in Perth. He is a genuine match winner and fantastic to watch being an amazing back-foot player,” Ganguly added.

Aussies know how to come back – Sourav Ganguly

Moreover, the 46-year-old cautioned India for the next match against the hosts. He said it would be the most important game and India would need to win it or draw it to put pressure on the Aussies. Meanwhile, Ganguly says Australia knows how to make a comeback, and they can do it in the next game.

“Perth is going to be the most crucial match of the series, and if India can either win there or even escape with a draw, it will be really tough to stop them from winning the series. Australia always plays well at Perth with his high pace and bounce,” Sourav Ganguly opined.

Furthermore, this was the first time India won the opening Test of a series in Australia in 70 years. However, India will play the second Test against Australia starting from December 14 in Perth.
