The young Rishabh Pant failed to get the nod from BCCI selectors for the upcoming ODI series against Australia and New Zealand. Most probably, it is also the end card for him, as far as the ICC World Cup 2019 hopes are concerned. Unless any injuries to the regular players, Rishabh Pant might be on the wrong side of things.

The Delhi lad has attracted quite a few audiences and analysts with his sledging behind the wicket. But, unfortunately, he failed to get the same with his batting exploits. However, it is believed that he has got skills to survive in the longer version of the game. But, unfortunately, it wasn’t the case for him in limited overs.

Speaking of the ouster, the chief selector quoted that ”That’s the reason Rishabh is a part of T20 squad. Also now with Kedar (Jadhav) and Hardik (Pandya) are fit and Kedar being an off-break bowler, it will be difficult for the team management to fit in Rishabh in playing XI in the World Cup unless someone gets injured. Already Dinesh Karthik and KL Rahul are there in case MS gets injured.”

No one can stop you – Rishabh Pant

The hard-hitting batsman failed to make things happen for him in limited overs when he was given chance. In both formats of the game, he got the chances to guide India to victory and cement his place but failed in all those chances.

Meanwhile, after being out from the ODI squad, Rishabh Pant took to Twitter to come with a motivational tweet for himself. He termed that no one can stop the person, who is willing to learn from the failures.

Digging into his tweet, it read ”If you are not willing to learn … no one can teach you. But if you’re determined to learn … no one can Stop you.”

Now, Rishabh Pant will return to India after the conclusion of ongoing Test series. He will be joining India A squad to play against England Lions in the five-match ODI series.
