Bhuvneshwar Kumar tried to do something out of the box when he decided to bowl behind the stumps to Australia’s captain Aaron Finch. The right-hander was batting way out of his crease and thus India’s premier fast bowler tried to surprise him. However, Finch decided not to play at the ball and Bhuvneshwar Kumar was not all impressed by Finch.

Kumar also had a word with the standing umpire Michael Gough and he was not impressed by Finch’s backing away from the delivery. However, Kumar had the last laugh as he plumbed Finch in front of the wickets on the very next ball. In fact, this is the third time in the ongoing series when Bhuvneshwar Kumar has got the better of Australia’s captain.

Kumar had the last laugh.

If a bowler bowls his ball from behind the umpire, then it is a dead ball. However, Bhuvneshwar had his right foot in front of the umpire.

Kumar had the better of Finch in the first two ODIs when he bowled the right-hander. In fact, Finch had two lucky escapes. Firstly, Ravindra Jadeja could not hit the stumps from the point region when Finch had already given up.

Furthermore, there was no second slip when Bhuvneshwar Kumar had produced the outside edge of Aaron Finch. Meanwhile, Kumar once again gave a perfect start to the Indian side when he bowled a fine delivery to get rid of Australia’s wicket-keeper Alex Carey.

On the other hand, India could have had the wicket of second ODI centurion. Kedar Jadhav produced the outside edge of Shaun Marsh but India’s former skipper MS Dhoni could not hold on to his chance.

Meanwhile, Indian bowlers have held a tight grip on the Australian innings. The series is tied at 1-1 and the decider is now been played at the MCG. India has made three changes to their playing XI whereas the hosts have made two changes.
