India’s all-rounder Irfan Pathan lashed at the Twitter user. Pathan shared praise on his account for Australia’s young fast bowler Jhye Richardson. The right-handed bowler placed a flying slip to stop Virat Kohli’s single towards the third man area. Subsequently, Richardson bowled the fifth stump line to invite the drive from India’s captain Virat Kohli. The talisman right-hander felt for the bait and tried to go for the expensive cover drive.

However, Kohli could only manage an outside edge which was nicely taken by Australian wicketkeeper Alex Carey. Thus, it was a well-planned wicket from Australia as Kohli has got out in a similar fashion in the past.

Meanwhile, the Twitter user said to Irfan Pathan that there is no use of praising Kohli’s dismissal, as MS Dhoni won’t play him in the Chennai Super Kings team in the Indian Premier League.

Subsequently, Pathan lashed out at the user and told him that he has played for India because of his own skills and character. Pathan did a fine job in his playing days and delivered the goods with both bat and ball. In fact, Pathan had a majestic start to his Test career and also took a hat-trick in Pakistan.

Meanwhile, India needs another 60 runs from 54 balls to win the ODI series against Australia. The series is tied at 1-1 and MS Dhoni and Kedar Jadhav are going strong for the visitors.

Dhoni has scored his third consecutive fifty of the series and would like to take India over the line. The gloveman also completed 26000 runs in the professional career.

Pathan took to Twitter to share his post. It read as, “Well planned wicket of Virat by Aussie team, Stopping his single on third man by putting a flying slip in place and bowling the line outside off stump #AUSvsIND”.

Here is the user reply:

Pathan gave back in style.
