Cheteshwar Pujara has been the standalone batsman for Indian National Cricket team in the ongoing four-match Border-Gavaskar Test series against Australia. Meanwhile, he is also the highest run-getter of the series with three centuries to his name. His top-class batting has earned high praises from all the experts, and Russel Arnold is the latest addition to it.

Meanwhile, in a series which has witnessed low scores from both the sides, Cheteshwar Pujara has looked a class apart. He set the tone right in the first innings of the first Test when he played a brilliant knock of 123 to bail India out from the difficult situation. In addition to, he shared a crucial partnership with Ajinkya Rahane to hand India a 31-run win.

Although he struggled to capitalise on the starts in Perth, Cheteshwar Pujara came back strong to score another hundred at Melbourne. He continued his beautiful run with another hundred at Sydney against a top-class bowling attack of Australia. He has also played the most number of balls in the series and is the third in the list of most balls faced in a series by an Indian batsman.
