Australia and India will lock horns in the third and final T20I at the Sydney Cricket Ground. The hosts have carried their 1-0 lead after the rain had come to their rescue in the second match at Melbourne. Thus, the Australian team had luck on their side as India had put their noses in front after they had restricted Aussies to 132-7 in 19 overs. We bring you the Weather Report.

Consequently, Indian bowlers who had taken the beating in the first T20I were able to hit the straps in the second game. Khaleel Ahmed and Krunal Pandya had leaked runs in the first match. However, both the southpaw bowlers were able to make a solid comeback in the second game. Thus, it must have done them a world of good.

Rain is going to stay away.

On the other hand, Bhuvneshwar Kumar was the pick of the Indian bowlers as he scalped two crucial wickets. Kumar gave a perfect start to his team as he sent back Aaron Finch on the second ball of the innings.

Therefore, the Indian bowlers will like to continue with their good work. Meanwhile, Australia has a chance to clinch their first series after the ball-tampering scandal (not taking into account the one-off T20I against UAE).

Kuldeep Yadav has been a consistent performer for the Men in Blue and the mystery chinaman is once again going to hold the key. Meanwhile, Australia is boosted by the return of their talisman pacer Mitchell Starc who could replace Nathan Coulter-Nile in the playing XI. On the other hand, India is expected to back the same playing XI as they had done in the first two matches.

Weather Report: Rain had made its appearance in the first two games. In fact, it went to play a killjoy in the second match in which India were favourites. However, it is going to be a partly cloudy day in Sydney and the rain gods are going to stay away from the ground. Thus, Australia will have its chance to seal the series whereas India will have its own to level it.
